about

"Supposed I owned gun which I don't, I'd have to consider what it might me good for, killing the television maybe? With the press of a button?... Seems like that would be a cop out. I could do the same with a hammer."

I feel like "Creosote," could use a little clarification.

"Introduced my shot gun to the television late last night they met shook hands with shattered glass and shrapnel scraps. I got down on my knees to clean up the crash and cut my hand and bled out on the wooden floor. Self slaughter keeps me coming over for more."

Someone who owns both a shot gun and a television might be very frustrated to hear all the attention that gun control is getting in the media right now. These folks want to protect their 2nd Amendment rights and in doing so take matters into their own hands. Take out the television with the very thing that just might no longer be legal for you to own. By shutting these people up with you're gun you've made your point right? Wrong, in cleaning up the mess that you've made your cut yourself and bleed on onto your living room floor. The television and the gun together have created a cycle of self destruction unknown to you. The individual is desensitized by both objects. The power and protection that individuals believe they have from owning guns comes directly from the violence that they witness on the TV daily. The TV scares you and entertains you with guns at the same time. Having had taken out one of the components in this rotation you have broken the cycle that you never understood in the fist place. Now you begin to realize.

"Heat stroke when the sun broke, I'd laid my body down beneath the silent hurricane of fire. It was my desire to be awoke out in the creosote with the Juniper and the Pinon, fillet my skin and soul."

Society's new "progressive interpretations" of the second amendment have marginalized you. You think that its coming though it may never show up, the new laws concerning guns and gun control that is. Being convinced of the coming change you attempt to isolate your self out in to the harshness of the wilderness and the the elements begin to break you down. You're determined however to protect your constitutional rights, but it's your own desires and fears that have driven you here in the first place, a place where greater forces govern. Out here your gun offers no shade from the blazing heat and the vultures that are waiting for you to keel over. The militia that you'll never form to protect yourself from a government that's bigger than you know, is in no way comforting you now. You're weapon brings you no satisfaction out here in the middle of the desert. This is the closest thing to the surface of Mars that you will ever know.

"Why must I hurt the ones that I love and most of all the ones above, and I see them frowning down on my dumb ass moves. If you must go well then I do know that the blame is for me and not for you though."

In a state of heat induced delirium that occurs right before shrivel up and die, you have no choice but to question your initial motives. It occurs to you briefly how many people who have lost their lives to these unregulated machines. Say good bye to your AR-15's folks, you did it to yourselves. May the world be a better place with out you.
